1939 was one twenty-six old Ralph Erskine to Sweden from London, attracted by a Sweden that appeared open to modernist architecture. He remained here until his death in 2005. Over the years, he was a strong and clear voice for an architecture that served the people and especially the less fortunate. He expressive idiom became his hallmark appreciated both at home and internationally.
This book presents some of Ralph Erskines most important buildings in the magnificent photographs of architecture photographer Åke E: son Lindman. Peter Davey and Olof Hultin sign was his portrayal of an artist who inspired many architects worldwide.
